Hi all--I've had nasal blockage for years (have asthma and sinus
allergies).  Recently, I attempted to irrigate my nasal passages--but I
can't get the fluid to come out the other nostril--the saline solution
just goes down my throat.

What am I doing wrong?

If you're leaning forard, looking toward the bottom of the sink, it
should be running out of your mouth, not down your throat.  That's what
happened to me when it didn't come out my other nostril.
