I tryed rhinocort and flonase. Both work good. My DR>. says I have
polyps and I could try Nasonex . Has anyone use this? Is it any good or
is it just like the rest? Thank you

I do not know if one is better or not, but some people with other health
issues cannot take them.
For instance my Hubby has HBP and his MD prescribed the Rhinocort as he
cannot take decongestants.

Maybe you can check online and see what  ingredients are in them and,
their side effects.

None of those comtain decongestants in their basic form.

They are all standard steroid sprays and do not  have side-effects of the type
you refer to.

There is liekly to be little difference beteen them but some people will prefer
one or the other.....

Ok thank you, I just thought one was better for polyps as the Nasonex
says it does as per the fda. Thank you

Well that is a good point.

They submitted some studies to the FDA that were specifically on polyps and the
FDA therefore allowed them to put that claim on their literature.

I do not know whether Nasonex is actually any better than the others regarding
polyps.   I doubt it.    But it is true that they are the only one to be able
to claim under the regulations that theirs works against polyps since they have
some scentific proof.

I like Nasonex anyway because it has the lowest systemic absorbtion of any of
them (althouh all are low anyway), but it may be a bit milder than others.
Also, some prefer Rhinocort Aqua because it has no preservatives.   And Flonase
may be the cheapest......
