After the post (see below, last week) I tried irrigation after reading
a reply. At first it seemed quite normal, my sinuses were getting
washed out and the water was coming out after about 20 minutes, then
after a few days (2 or 3 times daily) the water/smell stayed in there
for hours. After about 3 days I got a bad headache/congestion so I
used the spray my doctor had perscribed (rhinolast) and I blew out alot
of green mucus. Is this normal after using irrigation, does this mean
it is working or causing a negatve effect or is it just not that strong
and more likely that I would be going through this anyway?

I think green usually means an infection, so quite likely you should consult
your doctor about this. You might want to have Dr. Grossan answer this one,
as I am not a doctor. I think maybe you might be using the irrigation too
much, though. My doctor suggested 2 times each day. Be sure you are washing
off the irrigation equipment. You don't want to cause an infection yourself
by not cleaning it properly.
Hope you feel better soon :)
