Yes, you place a particle of saccharin in the nose and see how long it takes
to taste it. I have several papers on this method.
You can also get a fair idea by placing Breathe.ease XL nasal gel in the
nose and see how long it takes to taste this, as the cilia move the gel to
the back of the throat and down the throat.
