does any one else screw up and hit enter when trying to navigate from the
subject to the comments, thereby submitting a post with nothing but a
subject line?

Yes, I'm afraid you are the only one.

My 'navigation' is: cursor placed ready to type...many, many keys to
hit...only one "Enter" key......have to be rather clumsy or have the largest
'Enter' key keyboard available. There are keyboards with regular small
'Enter' keys for the very spastic keyboard user. One solution would be to
remove the regular keyboard "Enter" key by gently prying it off...then only
use the "Enter" key by the number pad.

ah, but alas, it's a laptop and as such has no number pad, but i took your
advice and pried the single enter key off. i am now cutting and pasting
each letter from a pre-filled notepad document with the mouse.
