Sinus infection OR????

After gargling last night it looked like a blood clot came up with some
clear flem.
This morning I feel congested with itchy eyes.

What can it be??

Try nasal irrigation and see what comes out.

Hi Shirley...You're not alone... Before I knew I had sinus problems, I
recall lying face down on the bed. In this positon I felt something go
down the back of my throat. I cleared my throat to cough it up. What
came out was a huge glob of congealed dark blood. I guess it had worked
its way out from my sinus. I would suggest the itchy eyes, and
consequently the congestion is due to an allergy. My eyes get itchy if I
pet a cat, then touch my eyes. ..Jon
