Personally, my sinusitis always causes bronchitis. I'm just wondering
though, can sinusitis lead to pneumonia?

Yes, if it's not treated in time.

My ENT believes that an infection in the upper respiratory tract can
spread throughout both the upper and lower respiratory tracts.

Yes I have had upper resper and pneumonia from a sinus infection.

It went right down to my lungs.

My sinusitis causes feeling of something stuck in the throat, and this
happened after few months back I drank ginger soup to treat sinusitis
and common colds. Can this further lead to pneumonia?

Pneumonia is not a common complication of sinusitis.

But if you get a lot of infections then you could get both....

Yes.
If the infection in the sinuses isn't treated properly.

For me, twice in the past year: last May and last October. I now have a
LaZBoy recliner for the next time I have to sleep sitting up. Ain't
gonna go through that regular chair routine again, if I can help it!
