After irrigating I often get a greasy material, like yellow
vaseline,flushing out of my nose.
Any one else get this?

For me the presence of thick yellow phlegm indicates that I either already
have or am about to get a sinus infection.
It is my understanding that phlegm should be clear and not very thick at all
if your sinuses are working properly.
