I have had sinus problems for two years. Recently I got the flu and now
I feel even worse. I went to the doctor and I got antibiotics and
sudafed. I feel better now but I still feel my ears congested.

I read that the Sinus Irrigation is NOT recommended if you have an ear
infection.

Should I wait until my ears are cleared?

Thanks

We generally recommend pulsatile irrigaiton for ear infections in order to
stimulate cilai activity to drain the ear via the eustachian tube, as well as
reduce the antibiotic load. Some patients with serous oititis really benefit by
pulsatile irrigation.
