i've noticed that when my sinusitis is chronic (i've had prior surgery)
i develop back problems, ranging from neck stiffness in the am, to
midback and lower back stiffness throughout the day.
i regularly stretch to keep the muscles around the spine loose... but
no help overall.
anyone else have a similar problem???
anyone know the etiology of the relationship of sinusitis and cervical
pain???
thanks,
zip

Both may be forms of inflammation.

For me I think that it's from trying to 'protect' my head - which is
probably hurting if it moves or gets bounced around too much. The
muscle tension required to do this makes everything ELSE get sore....

Hello... I've had severe Ankylosing Spondylitis since I was 15. I've
also had my sinus problems since then. I don't know if there is an
autoimmune factor involved with sinusitis, but if there is, perhaps
there is some sort of relationship (at least in my case). ..Jon

Hello,
Sounds as if that kidney is infected. A little sulfa
is all you need; or lots and lots of GOOD water and
pure (very expensive - sorry) cranberry juice,
which you purchase at the Health Food Store.

Hello,
Drainage. Plus it is their job to carry off the infection
from your sinuses plus everywhere else, and sometimes
during over-load they need help. Remember they are
human too and can take just only soooo much before
they break down and cry.

mycoplasma/ureaplasma - good luck getting anyone to test you for it though.

actually been tested for mycoplasma fermentens.... don't if the
reliability of the test is all that good though.

I'm certainly no expert but I believe the only good way to test
is a pcr test.
This place below (no I'm not affiliated) seems to be pretty experienced.
I'd like to get my ENT to order it so insurance will pay it. You can
pay yourself and they will give you a discount if they can use
the results in their studies or something like that. I checked
into it and it cost about $2000 depending on what you want.
