These few weeks I always catch with a runny and stuffy nose, one phenomenon
caught my attention was, twice this happened.
At first when I touch my nose, there was a piercing pain on first day, then
a swollen
white bump (2nd day) on the side my nostril, at the root of one nose
hair...On
third day basically it is mature and a press & wipe of tissue paper can
remove
it with a big spot of white fluid...Then it is gone and nothing happen
thereafter.
How do MDs perceive this situation?
Thanks.

what you had sounds like a boil or abscess.
an abscess in this area can be very dangerous. Fortunately it sounds like your
OK now, but you should never squeeze these in the area as that pushes the pus
into the brain.

Its a lot like the adolescent "zitz" but in the nose these can be serious. If
you get this often try using an antibacterial soap.
