I have a chronic problem in one of my frontal sinuses. Had a complete
ream-out 7 years ago (maxillaries, turbinates, ethmoids, sphenoid,
frontal, antral windows). This one sinus started acting up about a year
and a half ago.
I'm using steam and irrigate.
The only thing that has been able to touch teh inflammation is Cipro
intranasally. Unfortunately - both Ciprodex and Cipro for eyes have a
concentration of EDTA that really tears up the lining in my nose.
Are there sources of this that DON"T use EDTA for a preservative? Right
now I'm looking at surgery number 5 if I can't get this fixed - and am
getting into a high risk category because I've already HAD so much
surgery!

Your Doctor can prescribe Ciprofloxin prepared in 100 mg vials for irrigation
from General Home Pharmacy
877 447 4276
this is without EDTA or any preservative as it is compounded and placed into
single use vials. .
