Hello:
I am a study coordinator with a company called IASUS
and we are currently looking for volunteers to undergo
a 4 week study measuring the effects of Fungal Therapy
upon individuals suffering from Asthma.
The study is motivated by the Mayo Clinic's discovery
of fungal infection as the direct cause of Asthma,
Chronic Sinusitis, and Crohn's Disease. The study will
not be utilizing any prescription medications, but
will require a participant to follow a very exact
dietary protocol for a period of 30 days. All participants are also
required to maintain a daily food diary and meet or talk over the
phone once a week to discuss their progress.
If you are interested please e-mail me at
jim@iasus.com with the following
information:
1. Age
2. Gender
3. Have you been diagnosed with Asthma by a certified
doctor?
4. Is your Asthma consistent or seasonal?
5. Do you smoke?
6. Do you suffer from any other chronic illnesses?
If you are not interested in participating in the
study, but would like some more information on fungal infections,
their link to Asthma, and the effectiveness of Fungal Therapy, you can
also contact Jim@iasus.com or go to www.IASUS.com.
Kind Regards,
Jim Metropoulos

There's not much information on your website as to the background of your
organization.
On whose behalf is this study being conducted, and under whose supervision or
sponsorship, if applicable?
Can you give some references as to physicians or others involved in the study?
Is the study approved by appropriate regulatory authorities?
I think that information would be a prerequisite before anyone should become
involved.

This individual had posted on alt.support.asthma as well, and I had likewise
raised your concerns. Notice that the content reads more like a marketing
ploy that a scientific study.

Why not instead study something that actually has a chance of working,
like an antifungal agent?
