I had to use AYR saline rinse a couple of times last night as my nose
felt full and could not get to sleep.
I tilted my head to the left when I sprayed, then I blew my nose and a
blood clot came out.
I used the spray this morning and just pink drainage come out with
taking Tylenol.
Can I clear this up by myself without taking an antibiontic?

I went to the MD this morning. He gave me Spectracef for the
infection(10 days) twice a day, Allegra to take at nights 1 a day,
Nasacort nasal spray for breaking the clots up.

It may not even be a sinus infection. A very mild nosebleed like that
can be caused by other things, such as excessively dry air. (The indoor
air here in my home in Massachusetts is getting drier and drier as we're
gotten into cold weather.)
Don't blow your nose so much because you'll blow the clot out and then
it may start bleeding again. Just irrigate and let it drain naturally.

I get the pink drainage through steaming, through steroid spray ... in fact,
just about anything can trigger it off! I've just come to believe I have a
sensitive nose and I never actually think anything of it. I hope I'm not
being neglectful, but it doesn't seem to hinder me in any way - it's just
the nose doing what the nose does and not doing those other things is
totally out of the question.
I hope that doesn't sound a bad thing to say, it's just that it never seems
to get worse so it's become 'normal'?
