Hi - I am new to this group but have been a sufferer for many a year.
I had a septoplastic 22 years ago and I had a turbinate reduction
procedure (RF heat treatment) about 2 years ago that was only
partially successful - it did relieve the turbinate problem about 70%
on the left nostril and about 50% on the right due to the fact that
there is a slight unsymmetry.. I am still having chronic problems and
not sleeping entirely well at night. I have tried the off the shelf
nasal sprays and I am currently using Nasacort which is a little
better than the off the shelf sprays but still a long ways from
natural breathing.. Can anyone report on alternative therapies such as
acupuncture ?
Thanks in advance,
El Squid

Nobody here has reported succces with acupuncture.
Have you looked for allergens?
I had acupuncture treatments for my sinusitis many years ago. I had several
treatments and it really helped.
Recently, I've purchased my own Acupuncture machine, for about $100, in
order to see if it would treat other ailments. It comes with stick on pads,
that the machine uses with small amounts of current, to treat various
points, so I don't have to use needles. I've had some success with it, with
my sinuses and with other problems.
I documented my experiences, with "self treatment" with electro-Acupuncture,
several months ago, on Healthboards.com. If interested, follow the following
