I'm 45, and for about 5 years I've had bhp. The worst symptom I've had is
groin pain on my left side. Even though my urine flow is not that great, I
don't need to get up in the middle of the night to piss. Most of my problems
seem to be after ejaculation. After sex, or especially after masturbation,
my prostate is in pain. My groin on my left side is in pain, and my lower
back is in pain (mostly on my left side) is in pain. The last time I was at
the uro doc, I told him I was experiencing ed. He prescribed Viagra. The
Viagra worked well for the ed and to my surprise those horrible symptoms
after sex were almost none existent. What's up with that? Is my problem
really a muscular problem caused by poor blood flow, and the Viagra
increased the blood flow. If so what is the cause of the poor blood flow? I
do have sciatica. Could that be the cause of the problem? Any help would be
appreciated.

Poor blood flow is a very simplistic way of putting it. Viagra prevents the
destruction of NO by blocking a specific NO destruction pathway. NO is very
important in many parts of the body, including the growing of hair
(Rogaine/Minoxidil produces NO) and building of muscle. The Nobel Prize was
not won for the discovery of NO and its pathways merely just so we could get
and keep it up.
You might want to put yourself on an L-Arginine/L-Ornithine regimine to get
continuous NO benefits during the day. Go carefully. Ramp up slowly or
spend a lot of time having it flow out the other end. No, that's not
covering all the pathways. NO is produced and destroyed in many places by
many agents. I have found, however, L-Arginine/L-Ornithine to even act as a
nootropic and have many other benefits. Beyond-a-century.com is a great
place to get these items in bulk cheaply. Buy some Yuck Away to add to it,
mix in water or juice, drink on an empty stomach numerous times a day.
There's a pill the military gives to troops who come back from leave who've
put a few pounds on that stimulates growth hormone. It's meant to be taken
at night on an empty stomach. You might wish to give the pill a try on an
empty stomach several times during the day. It's on this page,

look for the L-Lysine L-Ornithine L-Arginine product.

For those skeptical about L-Ornithine/L-Arginine and Vi@gra/Ci@lis (that
must be the way to spell those products, since it's always offered to me
that way in spam ;-) ). Someone I know received some "Love Oil" to be
applied to his and her appropriate parts. The active ingredients in the
"Love Oil" (which does seem to work) is L-Arginine. It's well known that
taking a large dose of L-Ornithine and/or L-Arginine at bedtime will produce
effects one hasn't experienced in a long time if you're no longer a 20
something. So it looks like L-Ornithine/L-Arginine might be a good stand in
for Vi@gra/Ci@lis. If you want to get the real thing on the cheap, I've
already mentioned the website: http://shop.airsealed.com/default.cfm .
Look under Powders and bulk products and also ED and sexual aids. Remember,
you are dealing with a prescription drug here. If taking the bulk powder,
be very careful about the dosage. If taking any of it, your doctor is your
guide.
I don't believe it's only circulation. I used something called the OzBrew
on my head for about two years and regrew a lot of lost hair, which hair
stays with me. The ingredients were DMSO, MSM, L-Arginine and Rogaine.
Those people who didn't use the L-Arginine didn't get as good responses as
those who did, and it's been pretty well proven Rogaine/Minoxidil works on
keeping/restoring hair not by increasing circulation (which it does as a
high blood pressure med) but because of its supplying NO to the party. BTW,
NO will open up the circulatory system, so if you're on a high blood
pressure med, be careful with L-Arginine/L-Ornithine.
