I have a severely enlarged prostate and am reaching the point where the
continuous urination both day and night is affecting my lifestyle.
There is no evidence of cancer. Is consideration of this surgery for a non
cancer patient a solution?

Absolutely 100% no. It is only a cancer operation.

Some may find relief with a ream job for the urination problem but I haven't
done it and so cannot say. Do you take anything? Such as Hytrin or Flomax? I
have found relief with Hytrin.

Absolutely not. I assume you are now seeing a qualified urologist?
What treatment are you being given?
