Currently I'm reading a book called "Healing Back Pain - The Mind Body
Connection" by John Sarno, M.D. TMS means Tension Myositis Syndrome
which basically means that many problems such as back pain and
prostatitis may not have pathological origins. Anxiety, stress and
repressed anger in the subconscious can cause real physical illness.

In his book he states some common equivalents of TMS are: Prostatitis,
IBS, and frequent urination. The following is a direct quote, "An
academic urologist of my acquaintance has said that over 90 percent of
his cases of prostatitis are due to tension."

Maybe some of us need psychiatrists rather than urologists. Food for
thought.

don't fall for that school of thought

is grains.stop eating grains for 1 week and you will get better.

It sounds similar to the thinking described in "A Headache in the Pevlis",
by David Wise PhD, and  R. Anderson MD.  However, Wise and Anderson also
stress physical therapy of the pevlic floor in addition to the psychological
relaxation.  I tend to think, that getting rid of the tension is more
important, based on what I have experianced.

i urge you to just go 1 week without any grains
and i am sure you will feel a lott better.
it is fairly easy to do and there is certainly no risk involved in
trying.
i have found that when i stopped consuming grains the back pain
goes away rather quickly, the testicle pain drops considerably
and i also have a great improvement in the severe pain from
prolonged sitting.i also notice a marked improvement in my lobido.

You prove my point. Avoiding grains could not in actuality decrease
your pain, unless you believed it could. There's no organic reason for
the consumption of grains to cause lower back pain, so your are telling
yourself by avoiding this food you will get better, therefore there's
less tension in your back muscles.
