Here's the basic rundown:
6 months ago:
Feel a 'pulled muscle' feeling in my left testicle. Go to hospital,
where they treat me for epidydimitis. On Doxycycline for 10 days, no
relief.
That week I have a lot of pain, and feel tingles all over my body -
almost pass out at a dinner.
After finishing the doxy, I'm still not feeling well so visit a
urologist. There, I am put on Levaquin for 20 days. No help.
Continued on Cipro for 30 days, 2 times a day. No help.
Most recent visit to new urologist - here is the current situation:
- None of them suspect cancer. I haven't had an ultrasound yet, but am
going soon.
- According to latest urologist, my epidydimus and prostate feel fairly
normal
- He did a massage, and took a fluid sample. He said he saw no signs
of infection.
At this point, I further describe my symptoms to him:
- pain mostly localized in left testicle, but it causes stomachaches
and makes me feel like I have to have a bowel movement
- occasionally my entire left leg will feel either 'tight' or numb...
like a pulled muscle
- ejaculate volume is roughly 1/3rd of what it used to be. I feel a
sort of 'back pressure' in my left testicle and up-and-to-the-left of
it when I ejaculate
Does anyone have familiar symptoms?
The urologist thought that I might actually have orchitis rather than
prostatitis, and put me on a heavy dose of motrin (ibuprofen) for 10
days. 600mg, 4 times a day. I am -not- on any antibiotics at the
moment.
Any thoughts?

yes,you have neither of the 2 conditions you mentioned
you have either damaged your lower spine or were born with a
predisposition and it is
is just showing up now
if you want to get better layoff the abx,s.it is obvious they are
not helping you
if you go to the dr.,don't complain of testicle pain.complain of
pain in your lower spine
and you are sure that it is radiating into your testicles and lower
legs.if you complain
of testicle pain only the dr. will not know what to do to help you.
most likely prognosis is that you are suffering from nerve and
muscle pain originating in
the lower spine.
the problem of constantly feeling as if you always have to take a
crap is caused by too
much fiber in your diet mainly grains like oats, corn, and rice, and
whole wheat.
you always have the feeling that if you could take just 1 giant crap
that the pain
would go away.
here is what i have to do everyday to reduce the pain in my nuts and
lower spine.
i absolutely cannot eat a diet heavy in fiber.
when i get up in the morning i have to take 2 oxycodone talbets.5 mg
of oxy amd
350mg of acetometophin and 15 mg of baclafin
the pain usually starts coming back aroud 4 or 5 in the afternoon.
then i take 2 more oxycodones and another 15 mg of baclafin.
i also do deep bending exercises for the lower spine 2 times a day
at bed time i take 20 to 25 mg of amytriptylene.
i still have some discomfort but it is quiet mild compared to what i
had before
i started this treatment..
most dr's only prescribe 10 mg of amytriptylene and 10 mg of
baclafin.
in really bad cases this is not enough to relieve the pain.
i had to increase the amytrip and baclafin ,then i bagan feeling
better.
when you decrease the fiber in your diet you may have to
occasionally take e vegetable
laxative.although i don't have hemmorhoids i find that 1 hemmorhoid
suppository
occasionally helps alot to stop the burning sensation.
chances are is that you will have this problem for the rest of your
life.
don't waste your time and money on uro's.
chances are that a good back specialist will help you a lot more
than a uro.
i am sure uro's are good for urological problem but your problem is
not a urological
problem.
good luck, maybe what i have told you will help.

Don't stay on the high dose motrin (NSAID) too long, or it will very likely
destroy your stomach mucosa and you will end up with bleeding (hemorrhagic)
gastritis or duodenal erosion, or worse yet bleeding ulcers...Pete
