cp symptoms usually start as pain in the testes, penis, or groin
you go to the dr. and he gives you abx's
there is no valid reason for dr's to prescribe abx when a patient
presents with no fever, no infection in urine,no infection in blood
sample,and normal vital signs.
well after repeated usage of abx over a long period of time
you then become a victim of abx induced back pain.abx used over a long
period of time and off again and on again can play wholly hell with the
muscles and ligaments in your lower back.
eventually after repeated use of abx you come down with bowel problems
and a sensitivity to gas in the large intestines.these symptoms are
quiet similar to ibs.
now you are in deep sh.t,because your original pain is still there
plus lower back pain and then you start having trouble with your
bowels, feeling of golf balls up your a.s,burning in the rectum,
and constant feeling of having to take a crap.
now you don't know what to do and start running from dr. to dr.
and none of them know what to do for you.
true abx' help, but they only mask the problem and make it much more
severe. no one should be prescribed abx's for non bacterial
prostatis symptoms.
what you should have been prescribed on your first visit to the dr.
is amytriptyline, neurontin or both because in most cases the problems
originate in the lower spine and are usually related to pinched
nerves,back injury,or spinal abnormalities.
now here is what you have to do if you are a victim of abx problems
have lower back pain and bowel problems.
stop the abx because your symptoms will only get worse with time.
take hot sitz baths
take amytriptyline at bed time . the dose will have to be adjusted
depending on the severity of your symptoms.if amytriptyline does't work
you may have to take neurontin or both.
do the stretching exercises mentioned in a previous post
take motrin, you may have to adjust the dosage according to your needs
you must take zantac to get your bowels back to a normal intestinal
flora.you may also have take digestive advantage
ibs plus a very good digestive enzyme.only zantac will work,
not pepcid.omeprazoale,nexium,prolosec,or protonix.
then you can be on the road to recovery and there will be no need for

Snipped at a random spot because there was so much in it, you get the idea
in what I quoted and there was no need to quote as much...or probably as
much as I did.
The truth about CP? The prostate is a VERY good filter but not perfect. Once
you get CP you can have the prostate removed if you want (which I don't
want) or you can live with it. The pain IS a pain (pardon the unintended
pun) but the fact is that nothing to date, short of ripping it out which
isn't something you want to do, can cure it and we face constant ideas from
people who mean well (such as you), some of which help to an extent. We also
face (not you) quacks that come in here and try to peddle bullshit.
The TRUTH about CP is that you CAN live with it, that eventually someone
WILL find a cure that doesn't involve surgery and that right now it doesn't
exist.
So, do what you can do to relieve the pain and in the meantime keep watching
everything for news about new stuff. When the new stuff comes up, check it
out but don't be the first to try it.
Me? A lot of Saw Palmetto, the need to sit in a chair that isn't hard based
(your average camping chair qualifies there), pain relief as little as I can
get away with, not too much walking but a hell of a lot of moving around
getting up from prone position to standing (my job entails me crawling into
tiny spaces) and just getting on with it. I have tried massive amounts of
antibiotics and occasionally (roughly every 18 months) have to go back on
them for about 6 weeks. The massive antibiotics ultimately don't help but
taken sparingly can help a bad situation get somewhat better.
That's my way of dealing with it. Eg, there's no use having a whinge when
today's medical science cant honestly help short of cutting it right out
which isn't on for me. Should I get cancer, I die with the prostate and yes
that is probably stupid but that's my plan anyway.

Hey Mr. Hope, don't you think it is a bit excessive to take 6000 mg of S.P.
a day?

Keep 'em coming. No idea why you think I am that person because I am in the
same country but I can assure you that out of around 20 odd million people,
there's more than just one male with CP.
