the same day i posted about the cyclobenzaprine i received a call
from my cousin in calif.had not talked to him in many years.
during the conversation i mentioned about how bad my back and nuts were
hurting and my bowels were also giving me a problem.
well he told me that he had the same problem for many years, and i
immediately thought this cp crap runs in families.he also said that his
father, my uncle suffered with it for many years.
but here is the good part he also told me how to treat it.
he was a physical thrapist in airforce.
you will probably have to do this everyday for the rest of your life he
informed me.
i was getting close with the zantac and the motrin but i was missing
the stretch exercises or not doing the right ones.
he takes zantac everyday
he takes 2 200 mg of motrin everyday
these 2 exercises are most critical for eliminating the back, groin, and
testicular pain most of us suffer.i did exactly
what he told me and have had 2 almost pain free days and can tell i am
definitely a whole lot better.the pain is caused by the back muscles
and they have to be stretched in this manner.
sit on the floor with your back against the couch or a wall.
bend your knees and bring the backs of your feet as close to your butt
as you can get them.wrap your arms around your legs and squeeze very
hard.at the same time bend your head and try to touch your knees with
your head, try to hold this position for at least five minutes.do this
2 or 3 times a day. you want notice much
difference until the next day..
one other exercise and we will be done.
sit on the floor with your back against the wall or couch with your
legs straight out.now simply lean forward and try to touch your
toes.when you lean forward try and hold that position as long as you
can.do it several times and both of these exercises everyday.
this will also eliminate sitting pain.
the muscles in our backs are too tight and need to be stretched
on a daily basis.this is the only 2 exercises that will really stretch
the back muscles that are causing us pain.
so here is the answer to our problems
2 zantac everyday
2 motrin everyday
and by all means do the bending and stretching exercises everyday

So Zantac is now a treatment for CP? Please don't insult my intelligence.

So you state in your post
"so here is the answer to our problems 2 zantac everyday 2 motrin
everyday and by all means do the bending and stretching exercises
everyday" in a group called "sci.med.prostate.prostatitis", and now you
are upset that I (or others) could have interpreted it as you
recommending zantac for prostatitis? You mention nothing about bowel
problems in your post.
And you're upset enough to say something vulgar and offensive? You're a
loser. Go spam some other newsgroup.

For some people Zantac could help because if you look at the article
written by DR. J Curtis Nickles CPPS/CP and Interstitial Cystitis can
be considered interchangeable, so in some cases CP is IC ,reducing acid
levels could help with bladder pain ( no help in my case ) it is listed
on ichelp.org in the meds used for treatment ( along with about 50
others ) . But this guy is out there so I am not defending he just
replying to your statment.
