I have had all the problems you mentioned. I take 6000mg of Saw Palmetto a
day now and my symptoms have all but gone. I do get the occasional problem
but it never stays and I haven't had any antibiotics for about 2 years.
Many will put sh.t on what I do but the fact is that Saw Palmetto works for
some and not for others which accounts for some supporting the idea of
taking it and others against it.
All I can say is that if you do decide to try it, don't jump into that
amount immediately. I started on under 100mg and I was sick in the stomach
for about a month before I got used to it.

6000 mg is very excesive. The recomended daily dose is 320mg.

Like I said, yes I know it is a lot but that works.
However, the better issue in this is that it is a HOME REMEDY thing and thus
there is no honest "recommended daily dosage" in reality. Eg, it isn't a
doctor only medicine. It is the same as taking vitamin C. There is no
recommended dose in reality. So, why is 6000mg wrong? The only REAL reason
it is too much for some is that Saw Palmetto needs to be gotten used to by a
lot of people - I had to get used to it - and once your body is OK with it,
taking the RIGHT dose (as I do) is all that matters.
