Normal pH levels for semen range from 7.2 - 8.0. Abnormal levels can kill
the sperm. However, my guess is that the effects from the high pH level on
the sperm's vitality vs the integrity of the chromosomes within the sperm
are two different things.
Also, high semen pH can be a sign of baterial prostatitis, so please get
that checked out.
