I have been suffering from Chronic Prostatitis for 16 years. I am seriously
thinking about going to the Prostatitis Center in Tucson Arizona for
treatment. I understand Dr. Polacheck uses the Manila procedure as practiced
by Dr. Feliciano in Manila. I was wondering if there may be someone, a
clinic or physician, that is using the Manila method successfully in my
geographic area that anyone may be aware of. I am looking for someone in the
Philadelphia PA, Lehigh Valley PA , or New York City area.

I've never been to the Tuscon clinic, but many people do not hold that
clinic or that of Dr. Feliciano in high regard (see the links below).
I believe one of the guys at Chronicprostatitis.com stated that he was
aware of only 1 or 2 men have been cured using the Mainila Protocol.
Because prostatitis is a poorly studied area of medicine, it's hard to
know who to trust; and because its definition is somewhat broad,
treatment can vary from person to person.

If I were you, since you appear to be in the northeast, I'd contact the
office of Curtis Nickel in Kingston, Ontario.  He had many published
studies and has reported success with acupunture.

Gary:    you might want to check out
http://bph-prostate-enlarged.blogspot.com/   and in particular the posting
there at the very bottom "Prostatitis--do I have it?"  If you don't think
your doctor has done enough, you might want to get a second opinion and
insist on some of the tests mentioned on that site?     Might give you some
ideas?   Here's wishing you best and for a speedy
recovery.   I hope you get the problem fixed soon .  All the best to you.
