lingering symptoms

I'm looking for suggesions on some waxing/waning symptoms persisting
after a bad flare of balanitis about 6 months ago.

It is hard to know what exactly triggered the flare. It occurred after
a long course of tetracylcine (unrelated condition), a period of
severe stress, and a sexual encounter where the condom broke.

Persisting symptoms are epididymitis mostly on one side and soreness
and swelling above it, on top of the pubic bone. Also, coming and
going at the same times there is reddening and soreness in the
frenulum.

Dermatologist at a teaching hosipital didn't have much to say about
it. Common STDs have all been ruled out (Chlamydia & Gonorrhea by
urine PCR. HIV, HSV & Syphillis by blood).

The inital flareup looked typical of a fungal infection
(http://healthac.org/images/yeast.html) but progressed to include flu
symptoms, inguinal lymph node swelling, back ache, and sensations like
pulled groin muscles.

Currently taking Biaxin, 500 mg bid (for same unrelated condition) so
I figure this would rule out some but not all bacterial infections.
Not sure what else could be causing this.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim

Jim,

Try stretching or following the Stanford protocol, it seems like its
helping a lot of ppl. Plus look at all the newer studies, they claim
that bacteria is irrelevant, their is more bacteria in controls than
in patients.

All those antibiotics is going to kill your system.
