This letter was sent to the The Endocrine Society Online.

I am writing in regards to the study on DHEA. I have
addisons disease and have had it now for 11 years. I
recently, about 1 month ago, began taking DHEA
regularly. The results have been amazing. It
completely cleared up my prostatitis and improved my
libido, which has suffered greatly over the past 10
years. My sense of well being has improved
dramatically as well as having more strength and less
fatigue.
I am puzzled as to why more Doctors
(Endocrinologist's)do not prescribe DHEA to their
Addison patients. I am willing to share my experience
or answer questions via email.

Can't speak to the Addison's situation but DHEA made my prostate ache
like a bad tooth. Funny that what will help one person can exacerbate
symptoms in another. Go figure.
YMMV
