My experience with prostatitis is the sensation of burning in the
urethra near the tip of the penis is oftentimes worse than the
prostate pain itself.  I have discovered that squirting some triple
antibiotic ointment up in there a few times a day seems to help -
hurts a little at first, but overall am able to get through the day
with much less pain.

What oral ABX's have you tried?
I usually get relief from the UT and glans burning after being on mine
for a few days.

At least a dozen.  The only one that seems to help is flagyl, but I
had to get off it due to bad side effects. Been a while since I have
used a fluoroquinolone, could try one again - any favorites?
