I noticed about a month ago that there were blood clots appearing in
my ejaculate.  I didn;t know what to make of it.  I read some web
pages and found out that it was called hermatospermia and that's not
supposed to be anything serious, but it's freaking me out.  It has
continued to happen and I am going to see a urologist this week.  BUt
i;m still freaked out.
    I am only 36 and havn't had any prostate problems before,
other than occasional difficulty urinating after sex.  Like maybe
every other month.  I have no fever, no pain, and no other symptons of
prostatitis.  It just won;t go away.  The only things are, the first
time it happened, I had gone for an unusually long time without
ejaculation, maybe two weeks or more.  And I have been drinking more
in the last few months.  So, is it possible that alcohol can bring
something like this on?  Or, being celibate for so long?  Why isn't it
going away?  If I just popped a blood vessel orsomething, wouldn't it
heal up in a month?  And should I leave it alone or try to ejaculate
more often to clear it out?  Will that just do more damage?
