Xanax/Prostatitis

Has anyone here had theor prostatitis and frequent urination improve after
starting xanax?
I am going to have to take it for life anyway because even with my thyroid
under control my meds. cause me bad anxiety so if this is a benefit I will
take it.

Don't know ... can't see how Xanax could have anything to do with
prostatitis ... but not sure Xanax is right drug for chronic anxiety.
Have you seen a psychiatrist? Would think you'd be better off with an
anti-depressant.

I take Xanax once in a while, as seldom as possible. I note no
effect on my BPH or prostatitis symptoms. But perhaps I don't
take it often enough.

Xanax can be pretty addictive if you use it for any length of time.
