Six weeks ago I had this procedure.  Was told that a dilation of urethra was
performed because of stricture.  Three weeks after procedure, although stream
was better in day time, the sense of urgency and getting up at night increased.
(four times).   It appeared I was getting a blockage.  Doctor said I had
prostatitis.   Have been on Cipro for last two weeks.   While symptoms have
gotten better, I notice the stream at night varies from stop and go to weak.
Sometimes I don't feel like there is retention.   Get up six times now.
Daytime the stream is sometimes strong to moderate.  The problem is at night.
I am going to be put on Cipro another week.    I feel side effect of anxiety
and anger.   I don't know if my urologist knows what the hell he is doing.
Anybody with any advice?   Thanks.

Have you been screened for bacteria??? If not, i would do so before
getting on Cipro.

Maybe its a muscle problem??? check out www.chronicprostatis.com and
look at the muscle section.
