I do not see as many ppl on these posts as in the past. It seems that
people are becoming cured!

I agree. The old posters from this newsgroup are gone. Why? Simple.
ProstaQ, ProstaProtek, the Stanford Protocol, proper pain management,
Prelief, alpha-blockers, benzodiazepines, Neurontin, Elavil,
antihistamines and more, and our protocol:

Combine all this with the first coherent explanation of what causes
"chronic prostatitis":

Combine this with an understanding of why antibiotics sometimes help:

.... and you end up with a calmer, more informed patient population that
has REAL OPTIONS for EFFECTIVE treatment.
Thank you.

More likely most of the "old posters" like myself have come to the
fact that CP is something noone at this time has an answer to and we
are going to have to live with it! I have tried everything, nothing
works, but I keep checking in here periodically to see if anything new
has come up.

Good morning RM. Man dont give up! Have you tried massages with
aggresive ABX therapy? Have you tried the Stanford therapy? Not
sure where you are geographically, but hopefully there is something
near by. No doubt that if I were near CA. I would try the Stanford
treatment. Luckily, I'm 2 hrs from Tucson and was able to benefit
from that treatment. I think things have changed over the last year
or so, and there are options. I'm not a big "Q" fan. But there
appears to be enough info out there to support the other options
mentioned. God speed.
