the symptoms seem to be very similar. my uro is confused about whats
going on with my symptoms. my main symptom is urethral discharge. it
is a sticky clear type of fluid, what i would suspect to be prostate
fluid. But im not sure, ive heard the urethra secretes this type of
fluid also. so what is the difference between urethra and prostate
fluid? this is very confusing. my urine tests have come back negative.
even the ones that were culturered. my uro gave me a prostate massage
but that did not yield any fluid.

please adviseeeee

I can't say if your discharge is a consequence of a nasty perpetrator
fighting with your immune system, ( may or may not be? ), but I will say
that the 2-3 day standard culture available to all of us, ( you & the
general population ), has serious flaws. If your part-time, potato chip
chomping, lab tech, took a backseat to a true infectious disease specialist,
( one who commonly uses PCR and screens for all specimens, incl. fungus ),
would it be any surprise to you to see something other than a letter head
with the confident remark negative?

See your doctor, drink lot's of clean water, and good luck to you.
