Gentlemen,

I have suffered from CP for nearly 10 years.  I was a frequent visitor to
this newsgroup for several years after it started.  I tried every possible
cure that was discussed at that time including herbal remedies (that wound
up giving be kidney stones). I was fortunate to find patient doctors that
were willing to do fluid cultures and identify effective antibiotics.  I
went to the Mayo clinic for a full urological workup. In short, nothing
worked.  I am a typical type "A" personality and thought I could research
and work my way to a solution.

After far too many years of suffering, I finally asked My Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ for help and he mercifully granted it.  I still suffer
flare-ups on occassion but they are rare and finally bearable now that I do
not face them alone.  I hope some of you can learn from my experience and
turn first to the Lord for help.

God bless you all and I pray that you get the relief and companionship that
I have.

PS It was enlightening to get back and see the growth of the Prostatitis
Foundation.  Many thanks to the dedicated volunteers and compassionate
professionals that have worked so hard.

Thanks for your testimony brother.

Isn't it true that with all we try to do to find relief, the most effective
medicine many of us have received has been the unconditional support given
from our loved ones? While we're one the topic, maybe this is a good time to
thank just who it is that has provided you with that unconditional support?
A bouquet of flowers, a handshake or your kneeling in prayer, could possibly
be overdue and just what somebody needs to hear right now.

Each & everyone of us have our own way of drawing support to try and make
living with this ailment a little more bareable. Aside from my wonderful
family & friends, as you mentioned in your post, the most thanks I have goes
to my great Lord, Jesus Christ.

Peace out.
