so the dr diagnosis me with chronic prostatitis, which in not a surprise to
me. for a while he was convinced it was a bladder neck something or another
that he'd have to do surgery on. but he calls me and says it's
prostatitis. Now I'm taking cardura 4 mg a day,2mg to start off for the first
week. has anyone any experience with this? I feel a little dizzy, and my nose
seemed to instantly get clogged,is that a side effect?
My chest feels slightly tight too but ,to be honest, I cant tell if it's the
medicine or me catching a cold.

I have both CP and BPH and because of the BPH had a TURP. I have taken
both cardura and flomax. Cardura is used for treatment of high blood
pressure and benign enlarged prostate. It works by relaxing the muscles
of the bladder and prostate. One of the side effects is dizziness it
probably dropped your blood pressure and it can also cause you to have
a stuffy nose. when I took cardura it also sometimes caused
retrograde ejcaulations. Good luck-------Rudy
