I'm in the reality zone - there is NO cure for CP so don't get taken in by
bullshit artists who say there is! That's where I am!

That is not true, it goes away. Not for everyone but for many.

Not true. It goes away for some but the vast majority never lose it.

No known cure.

There are a lot of those.

If auto repair industry was regulated like the health
care industry, they could do what ever they wanted
and you would pay even if nothing was fixed!

There is no economic reason for the health care industry
to find a cure for CP-CPPS. In fact there is an incentive
for them not to find a cure.  CPPS suffers provide an endless
source of revenue.  I wasted close to $20,000 and received no
benifit. The money did not go into research, nothing
was learned, and no one was closer to a cure. I could not
find one doctor or clinic with any interest in me or my disorder
beyond the scope of how much the insurance would pay.

>> Symptoms:

>> 1. Before onset.

Yes, there were strange sensations several months before the first
occurance.

>> 2. First episode.

Symptoms went away after taking antibiotics, took about three months
to fully recover.

>> 3. Chronic manifestation.

Began about one year after the first eposode, did not respond to
higher and higher doses of antibiotics, (gave up after 3 cipros/day
for 90 days)

>> 4. Lowest point

There was more than one low point the worst was at the Mayo Clinic.

>> 5. First improvement.

After experemental self treatment.

>> 6. Intermediate resolutions.

There have been several intermediate resolutions including,
the elimination of all CP symptoms
the elimination of hemorrhoids
and a significant reduction in pain from sitting.

>> 7. Recovery.

I believe it is posible to recover from this condition
but there may be some permanant effects such as the hypersensitivity
to semen that will have to be managed.

 a. Anorectal wash, 30ea 10cc 95% ethanol, 3 hours. (potentially dangerous)
 b. Subsonic prostrate massage, 6 months.                 (extreme caution)
 c. Garlic extract, 15gr/day 10 months rect. (induced levitor-ani syndrome)

recuction/elimination of a chronic lung problem.
Probably from garlic, killing the fungi that causes valley fever.
A significant reduction in arthritis symptoms.

Two problems with the BB at CP.COM

1. it is is not searchable. One can not search for posts with "symptoms"
2. it is not public. Evervthing posted becomes the property of CP.COM

If a few would describe their symptoms it might be posible for me
to determine if what I "had" was the same as others with this condition.
