i developed bad allergies but also have enlarged
prostate. i need to take antihistamines and im scared
that the prostate will cut off my ability to void.
anyone has any experience with this type problem?
does it depend on the person, or is it a certainty that
  antihist. will stop your flow?
 thanks everyone.

I second the suggestions for a nasal spray like flonase, nasonex or
Rhinocort Aqua (my pick of the three). I can't tolerate
anti-histamines at all, and Rhinocort Aqua has been a life-saver.
