Water semen

I had a brief unprotected sexual encounter about 3 weeks back (I am 26
year old male, was with a female whom I do not know). It was brief in
the sense that the unprotected contact/penetration only went on for
about 5 seconds. I think I caught something because I had pains in my
lower abdomen starting about a week later and some pain when
urinating.

I received treatment, Zithromax and some other shot in the backside. I
was also on a 5 day course because of Strep throat leading up to the
Zithromax/shot I was given for the possible STD. The doctor said maybe
something was trying to form but since I was already on antibiotics it
was being fought off.

Well, I still have some discomfort in my abdominal area and I have
been having issues with ejaculation for the past 10-12 days. The issue
is the semen is pretty watery, much less in volume and I do not feel
complete. My left testicle (all discomfort is on the left side) pulls
up almost entirely into my body when ejaculating, which did not happen
before and I could swear that some veins seem larger, much more
bulging than before.

I went to see a urologist yesterday but he said he sees no signs of an
infection. He felt my prostate (not pleasant) and my genitals. He said
my issues with ejaculation could be stress related.

I am completely unimpressed by this diagnosis and wonder if I should
go see another doctor? Something has to be wrong and I'm guessing it's
from the sexual encounter. Seems pretty coincidental that this would
all begin a week after the contact.

You need to be on antibiotic my friend Cipro for 10 days and then Bactrim for
another two weeks - your doctor is a bone head

Thanks for the response, this was my assumption as well. I am going to
make an appointment with another urologist.

I don't see how this could be anything but an infection. I imagine it
must be something I caught, because that would be quite a coincidence.
I guess a few seconds of contact/penetration is enough time for an
infection to transfer from one person to another. I need to be a
little more smart and responsible in the future to avoid situations
such as this.

It's just my opinion and I'll get shot for saying this, but I tend to agree
with you. Of course this doesn't apply to everyone, but I think this advice
would benefit many who tend to take risks and think they are immune to
disaster. I'll quote a Blue Rodeo tune that goes on to say, " It could
happen to you - hoo-OOooOO ".

Don't dwell on the past.

Good luck to you and regards.

Did you get my email on this?  Several years ago I came up with the watery
ejaculate as you did...i thought i was dying or something...I worried about it
and finally called a urologist. He was nice enough to listen to my plight and
than asked: Are you loading up on vitamin C?  I thought about it and confessed
yes...I had a craving over the last few weeks of oranges grapefruit and the
like..I found myself eating  5-7 oranges a day. He recommended I stop and see
if that helped...sure enough...it did...I was back to normal in a week...Have
you been over-doing Vitamin C?

Interesting account.

I did not get your email for some reason. Maybe it got put into the
bulk mail folder or something through yahoo's spam filter. Who knows.

My vitamin C intake is basically the same as always, which is not that
much other than daily vitamins. I went to see two urologists, neither
one thought I really had an infection still. The second one did say I
had 1-3 white blood cells per whatever volume they test but said that
is in the normal range. Perhaps I really did have an infection but my
body was still fighting it off.

At the beginning of this week my ejacluation seems to have pretty much
returned to normal. It finally has volume and release power back,
although it still looks a bit watery. Right now I'm only having
abdominal pains, but that is probably totally unrelated.

I have a physical next week where I am also getting an HIV test which
is my biggest frear since I believe whatever infection I got was from
the sexual encounter I had last month. I'm just hoping it's nothing
more than a simple bacteria infection.
