Hi;
I've been away from the group for about two years and have recently
looked at messages going back a few months. I was a bit surprised to
see little mention
of Quercetin. Then I saw a post indicating that this group is a no
"Q" zone??
Why is that? I've been suffering with CP for 10 years and Q and BT
(Broccoli
Treatment) has helped me more than anything else. Why the no "Q"
zone???
Thanks - Joe T

That is just a posting by a recurring poster here who is "mentally
challanged" in his belief towards this problem.

NSMG or nmgs or mnsg (whichever new AOL combo he happens to be using)
is obsessed with many things. Number 1 is that everyone with
prostatitis symptoms take antibiotics (but not the dreaded quinolones)
(even though not 1 single randomized placebo controlled study has
shown they are effective in CPPS). Number 2 is that quercetin and any
treatment that contains it is "snake oil" (even though there IS
evidence from randomized placebo controlled trials that it is
effective as well as several scientific studies showing objective
improvement in parameters of inflammation and reducing the growth of
several cancers and reducing the risk of heart disease).
This is an open usenet group, so of course there is no moderator and
anyone can post on anything, within the confines of the law.

Only study done on "Q" was by a bald headed little maggot who has a vested
financial interest in "Q"

Paul hates a certain doctor because this doctor once correctly
surmised that Paul is suffering from a particularly insidious form of
brain rot.

It was due to the idiocy of a few. Phytotherapy, including Quercetin
has made a big difference for a lot (not all) of men with CPPS...
