Ya...thanks for the information guy's. If there is lower back stiffness that
is continual, my opinion is that it really can be a cause of certain
discomfort's either in the leg, scrotal, or pelvic region, and it shouldn't
be dismissed as a cause until someone really takes a good look and
evaluates. Even if your doc concludes lower back stiffness is not a source
of pain in the areas I mentioned, I wouldn't completely dismiss the notion
so quickly. That's actually what happened to me. I was having upper groin
pain for over a year and several doctors told me my back had nothing to do
with it. I thought differently however. This groin pain in my upper left leg
meeting my bottom torso was quite different from my familiar CPPS
discomfort, and that is something very important to know and worth noting
for anyone reading. But, irregardless of my complaint's, they kept telling
me my back had nothing to do with it. It wasn't until I went to see an
obscure general practitioner who also doubled as a sport's physician in
Europe, ( he looked after the city's soccer/football team ), that I began to
find answers to this dilemna. He told me this upper leg pain was a direct
cause of a pinched nerve in my back. He gave me a CT scan and X-ray to help
verify. Once he had enough evidence pointing towards a pinched nerve, I
received steroid injection's for four consecutive day's in that leg, ( right
at the sore spot ), and I was completely amazed when the pain went away! A
week after my last shot, I noticed a huge improvement. I can't tell you how
happy I was someone finally took my complaints regarding this groin pain
seriously, investigated, and took a chance with treatment! So, my experience
tells me that back pain can be involved in the areas I mentioned, and I hope
this information helps others. Now.....if I could only get rid of my AWful,
AWful, pelvic pain....( I gotta laugh )....but this one's a little harder to
figure out as we all know! I'm working on it though. I recently had the
dreaded cystoscopy with hydrodistention and found out I have IC as well as
CP. AAARRGHHH!!
Regard's
