GARLIC REPORTED BENEFICIAL FOR PROSTATE HEALTH
Garlic supplements appear to have several benefits in prostate health,
according to a study printed in the February issue of Nutrition Research
(23, 2:199-204, 2003). Researchers at Ankara University (Turkey) recruited
27 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BHP) and nine patients with
prostate cancer, all of whom were given a daily garlic extract supplement.
After one month of supplementation, prostate mass was significantly reduced
in the BPH patients, although no effect on prostate mass was seen in the
cancer patients. Both groups exhibited improved urinary parameters,
including decreased frequency and increased flow rates. In addition, the
cancer patients also exhibited reduced total and free prostate specific
antigen (PSA) values. Researchers concluded garlic extract supplementation
leads to significant improvement in disease parameters for patients with BPH
and prostate cancer.
Tip => Using garlic supplements is a risk simply because the product may not
be effective due to the use of heat treatment involved in packaging, ( loses
nutrients ), and not all manufacturer's put what they claim in the bottle.
The Garlic Protocol requires about 6-10 raw garlic cloves per day for
approx. 1 month. For example: You could take 3 in the morning and 3 at
night. To avoid the odor concern, dice up each clove into small pill size
and do not chew. Drink down with an 8oz. glass of water per every 1 or 2
cloves. If the Garlic Protocol helps, a much lower dose for following months
would be of 1-3 cloves per day.

Have you ever been near someone that likes to eat garlic? These
people will literally "destroy" an entire building with their
odiferous powers. I know it says to "swallow the sections of clove
without chewing" but I'm willing to bet the odor would still be awful!
I wonder if some of the "odor free" tablets such as "garlique" that
have been shown to help with cholesterol would provide the same
benefit.

There is something in raw garlic that appears to be missing in
processed garlic. Perhaps heat or oxidation is the cause.
Initially garlic can cause a lot of odor and intestional gas,
but for some reason I have found the gas and odor abate after
several days if enough garlic is used.
It could be that something in garlic kills off intestional yeast
and causes the release of odorus byproducts. After several days of
use, the amount of yeast living in the intestions would be significantly
reduced along with the odorus byproducts.

I think your being silly about this. It really makes no difference to me,
but instead of complaining about it, why don't you try it just like the
instruction's state and find out for yourself? For crying out loud
man....try a tiny, tiny, little bit and work your way up.....lol....no one
will have a clue and I bet it wouldn't be half as bad as your claim.
Beside's as mentioned here previous time's in the past, manufactured garlic
tabs are not the same as the real stuff due to a variety of reason's, the
most important being suspect manufacterer's claims and the heating process
to keep the product viable. Go ahead and buy $$$ a placebo, or just try the
real thing. Your choice.
Regards.
