Hi - I've switched to six small meals a day, each one raising my blood
glucose only a bit (less than 120 at 45 minutes).  I limit my grams of
carbs to 25 grams per meal (each meal 400 calories). I've noticed a
big improvement in my frequent urination.   I wasn't expecting any
improvement in frequency from this - it was to lower my Hba1c - which
predicts mortality.

I have had a similar experience.  Found out I was borderline type II
diabetic, cut out sugars and severly limited carbs.  Guess what my
prostatitis discomfort (which I had managed to reduce to more minor
discomfort) comletely vanished.  Trouble is when my blood sugar numbers
got better and I eased up on the diet restrictions, the prostatitis flared
back up.  Hmmmm
