Dear Group,
As a long-term prostatis sufferer (like many men)I have been lurking
on the edges of this group for some time.
During the last two years my prostatitis symptoms have greatly
improved thanks to a change of urologists.
I now take alfa blockers to help relax the urethra and have a flare-up
of acute symptoms only every 3 to 6 months.
My urologist recommended frequent ejaculation as part of my therapy.
By frequent he means at least once a day.
Regular ejaculation helps the take-up of antibiotics in the prostate
gland and also helps to stop the gland accumulating potentially
harmful bacterial detritus.
The improvement has made so happy. I feel that I have had a new lease
on life.
