Hi,

I have a friend who has prostate probs...he's been to see his GP and knows it's
not cancer.

A friend of his recommended a natural product to help with his prostate
trouble, it's made from Zinc and Saw Palmetto. I've been trying to find out how
safe it is to take Saw Palmetto. Can anybody help please? I want to know if
there are any side effects and if it is safe to take if you are taking
conventional medicine for other things such as asthma and stress.

A reply via email would be very much appreciated.

I have been using Saw Palmetto for four years...320 mg/day of the extract,
taken in the morning.  It has completely eliminated the symptoms of BPH.  I
have experienced no side effects whatsoever.  I do recall that it took about
30 days the effects to be noticeable.  It is available at Wal-Mart, though
you can get better pricing from some of the internet purveyors.
