I had cp before there were any statin drugs
however i did take them for a long time after
i was diagnosed with cp.
while i was taking these statin drugs i did develop
severe pain in my legs and feet.
took a long time for the dr's to determine that
the statin drug was causing the pain.
it certainly makes sense that if they cause pain
in your legs and feet, they certainly could cause
pain in your groin and back.
they may have well aggravated the cp.
my personal feeling is that they did contribute to
causing my cp to get worse.
i no longer take them because of the pain they caused.
however my legs, feet, groin, and back still hurt.
i think that once the damage is done by statin drugs
it is permanent.

Pay no attention to what FrankenFerly has to say. He is a long time troll
of this newsgroup who used to go under the name Fatty Mawson. As a result,
this forum is totally worthless. For serious information, go to
