Ok, I haven't posted on any of these groups, but I have read almost
everthing I could find on Prostatitis.  It's funny, or should I say it isn't
funny how quick this problem will get you looking for a cure.  I have never
been so depressed and crippled from someting in my life.  It just kept going
like the enegizer bunny.

Anyway, I tried all the doctors and got all the meds.  Flowmax helped some,
but didn't like shooting blanks, or back firing.  Avadart just sounded evil.

So here is what I did and it took six months to get anywere close to normal.
I started taking 500mg of Quercetin twice a day and also double dose of the
GNS prostate formula with a mixture of drugs.  I started drinking a lot more
water, and eating lots of fiber.  It was slow as hell, but I am almost back
to 100%.

So, has others had this experiance and should I expect this to be a problem
that is going to come back in a year or so?  My wife and I are almost afraid
to feel good about anything for fear it will come back.  It was awful to
hurt all the time.

this group is full of skeptics and non believers who think that some
day
somebody will post a magic cure. ain't going to happen.
i don't doubt what you say at all.
i can tell you for an absolute fact that diet the the culprit for cp
symptoms
it is a slow and tedious process to eliminate the symptoms of cp.
if anybody with cp symptoms changes their diet for just a few weeks
they will notice an improvement
  eliminate fried food
eat less bread and more fruits
  don't drink carbonated beverages
  take digestive enzymes
stay away from grains like oats.barley, rye
it  will take e few weeks to feel better.

Dang, I better scrath the oatmeal off my morning diet?  I did quit red meat
wich you didn't mention.  I never was big on fried foods, but I love them
french fries.  I will add your item to my do not eat list and see if that
makes things even better.  Thanks.

I picked up most of the stuff you had on the list.  I got some Digestive
Advantage to take once a day.  Lots of those little Dole fruit cups.  Makes
a good nack.  Did it need to be fresh fruit?

Also, what is wrong with things like lettuce?  I think I read that I should
avoid it as well.  Is there a standard like avoid starch, fat, or items like
that?

Listen to all the people you can find.

Listen to bbgate, taterbug, or whatever he's calling himself these days
with skepticism.  You'll note in this thread he is posting under my name
"myasshurts" as well as his own.  (Look at the IP addresses)

I've caught him in the past posting a question and an answer in the same
thread - but under different names.  I suppose he is trying to raise his
legitimacy in the eyes of others.

I'm not telling you his suggestion aren't valid.  They very well may be.

However, just be skeptical.

For the record, I've found the most relief by sitting on either pillow
with a hole (exactly where the pain is) or on two books, one on each
cheek.   My sypmtoms are MUCH more manageble this way.

I sincerely hope you find some relief. I you do, please post.

Regards,

mah
