Suffered from chronic prostatitis and an enlarged prostate for a numbe of
years.  Finally got the nerve to get a laser turp done.

Not only can I pee like an 18 year old, it cured the prostatis.  Thus a lot
of prostatitis could be related to enlarged prostates.

Other interesting feature about the green light laser TURP. Laserscope,
the manufacturer has been aggressively marketing directly to consumers
including many suspicious "patient success stories" posted to internet
groups.

They've been airing them on the radio (in big markets) as well and have been
telling the consumer that PVP (green light laser) is the best thing since
sliced bread.  I've read stories from men who got this treatment for BPH and
ended up with prostatitis like pain symptoms that they never had before.

Another thing: people should never have a medical procedure done or take a
medication based on what is claimed in some ad.  You need to learn how to
research treatments for their efficacy by reading published studies.
