i was wondering if anybody has ever found blood on their underwear. i
had this once before and the dr. said it was probably coming from the
prostate - he told me not to worry as everything fealt fine and i had
a clean biopsy months before the episode of blood. today i go to the
toilet and see blood on my underwear. when i urinated, it was clear.
.. what could this be and has anyone experienced this problem? i will
call the doc in the morning for an appt., but must admit i am worried
after seeing it again.
thanks,
glenn

If your doc does not want to check this out more then I would find
another. This does not seem normal to me and I would sure want to find
out why. It could be coming from your bladder.
Get it checked as soon as possible.

It could be terminal cancer. It could be a pimple popped. It could be
nothing at all. How old are you? If you are over 40, are you getting
annual prostate screening?

Steve is right. It could be almost anything. Most likely it is
something minor like a burst small blood vessel, the equivalent down
there of a bloody nose. But it is pointless to conjecture. Assume it
is not anything to worry about, but see your doctor to be sure.

Thanks, went to the doctor and he said urine was clear from blood. He
is scheduling a cystoscope for me. He gave me no reason for the
blood! he did say the proscar should have stopped blood that came
after voiding. .. I am trying to assume it is nothing, but it is
hard. btw, I am 60 and have 2 biopsies of the prostate - BPH.
Thanks,
Glenn
