I don't believe I have cancer, but I wanted to post here to see if
anyone notices or recognizes these symptoms.
I'm 29 and in relatively healthy shape. The symptoms I experience are
the following (this again just happened this afternoon):
- slight to moderate pain in the region just above the penis
- slightly swollen scrotum (it was rather hard and stretched)
- it is kind of hard to urinate (I could, but it seemed to come out
more slowly than normal)
- felt like I needed to No.2, but I didn't need to...
- I ejaculate, and RIGHT after it, the pain intensifies. Then after a
few hours, I'm perfectly fine.
This just happened today. After I ejaculated, I took some aspirin, and
now, about 2-3 hours later, I'm totally fine. This won't likely happen
again for months!
Years ago, when I was in my lower 20's, I was with my then girlfriend
in bed. If I would get 'excited' enough to get the semen started, but
never ejaculate, I would experience the same kind of pain. I just
assumed that if you got excited and didn't finish, the fluid might
build up and cause pain?
Don't know if that applies, but I guess the more history you have, the
better.
Can anyone refer me to the right person? Should I speak with a
Urologist? Or someone else?
Thank you for your help!

Prostate cancer is extremely rare in a man your age. And there are
other conditions which can cause such symptoms which are relatively
common among men of any age. One might be prostatitis, which means
inflammation of the prostate.
You should go see your doctor and stop worrying about cancer. Your
doctor can tell you what to do next. If you should develop a urinary
obstruction, that could lead to kidney failure, which you certainly
don't want to happen. So don't put off seeing the doctor.

A urologist might be involved as some point, but you can start off with
any competent primary care physician. Either that doctor will treat it
or refer you if necessary to a urologist.
