We've been told red wine s good for us (I agree)

Tomatoes on toast very nice

But has any one tried any other herbal remedies /vitamins that are supposed
to work.

If you have tried them do they work?

Any long term side affects?

I've only just bin diagnosed and I'm on the Waite and watch approach, and
would like to try this avenue before going on to drugs

Any replies welcome

There is a good list available at:

http://www.prostatepointers.org/leibowitz/vitaminlist.10103.html

Also, you should be aware that instead of Watchful Waiting, there is an
alternative that has been shown to reduce your chance of dying from
prostate cancer within the first 8 years by over 99.7% (based on my
personal communications with the authors) at:

http://theoncologist.alphamedpress.org/cgi/content/full/6/2/177

Finally, if you go that route, you should seriously consider high
testosterone along with finasteride (an alternative that Dr. Leibowitz
and Dr. Tucker offer), since the latest animal research using human
prostate cancer cells indicates this is vastly superior to the
alternatives:
