leonard...i had radioactive seed implantation back in 2003 and jus
this past april, i experienced diarrhea with a good amount of blood.
doctor told me it was post radiation proctitis, due to the seeds and
weeks of external beam radiation. he prescribed 4 weeks of MESALAMIN
RECTAL ENEMAS, which helped greatly, however, right now i'
experiencing post radiation cystitis, with burning and blood upo
urination, all due to the radiation therapy. can't find any help s
far, but the proctitis seems to be cured, hopefully. talk to you
doctor about MESALAMINE FOR YOUR PROBLEM.......BOB P

Sorry. It wasn't me. I just referred pj, who was having the problem to
another newsgroup. (I was treated by surgery, for which bowel problems
arerelatively uncommon.) I hope you get better soon.

I can't seem to REPLY to PJ's post , i''l try here .
Had my implants in March, in June really bad bouts of diarrhea
started.
Not much in the way of stomach cramping but an extreme urge "to go"
End up passing just mucus and almost no bowel control. Trying to self
medicate with Imodene but would like to know if others have this kind
of result. Gladly take any advise

Diarrhea can kill you , but ever so slowly .
Since you may face permanenet D' , you should
study how to stop it . Diarrhea flushes the "flora" from your
entestines . Flora is ESSENTIAL .
Small things like Herpes HSV-1 in the mouth ( take LACTINEX ) are
only SMALL irritations .
K2 is from colon , expect problems if it is not created . Oral K3
is NOT as good as K2 .
